Gemini Strike: Space Shooter App Reviews

Awesome game. But getting more than 1 credit in the inbox, would make the game a whole lot better.

I would like to hope Im not the only one thats playing Gemini Strike because of its story. While there are generic archetypes and predictable reactions from the characters, I find myself intrigued with the war going on! I dont expect any original plot twists but I want to know more about the Gemini project and what lies are being covered up and such. Having noted this, I have to say that I am rather disappointed that hardly any interactions have come up between anyone in the story after Sector 29. But I suppose with the length of the game and limited dialogue, I guess things have to be spread out. :( Gameplay wise, its not bad, can be a bit of a grind, and can get pretty damn mean in the later stages! Asteroids and mines everywhere plus enemies shooting those purple and red bolts at you! ARGH!

Man, I love the dialogue in this game; very well written. Smooth gameplay, challenging & Old Skool! Very appealing, simple UI, nice Brostep boss music LOL. 1 bug: Equip screen locks up when you select an item & it stays highlighted & you cannot press back (everything else you press just stays highlighted.)

I run an iPad with a maximum update of 5.1.1(old, I know) astounded that this game that my friend showed me is perfect for me and can actually run on my ancient iPad. However, Ive come to find that it wont even start despite meeting the system requirements. I try to restart my iPad, wont work, reinstalled the application 4 more times before giving up. I have tried playing on airplane mode as well just in case there was an issue loading something that involved the network and still not working. If this could be fixed, it would be greatly appreciated. Im sure I cant be the only one to have met this problem.

From the first sector till the last, this game had it all. Action, comic relief, and one heck of a story (for an app of course). This is a must download!!

So far this is the best that Ive seen. I wish you guys will come with a function to transfer the game data so when I change my phone I can still play this game.

The storyline is stellar, which for a game like this I did not expect. Having said that, it could be improved upon in the later stages, and especially at the end where it skips the final message. The difficulty is good, but I was hoping it would be actually difficult at sector 100 and not as easy as it actually is. I can beat secret mission bosses in less than 5 seconds, yes you read that right, 5 seconds. I have an ample amount of gems (162,000) and theres nothing I can do with them. Same goes for gems where I just use them in hopes of getting a better item. At the end game I believe I had 52, as well as spending 35 on the ship and likely another 40 more on items. Thus ends the tangent of a player having beat the game, expecting more, and being disappointed. For those curious, my stats are 3500, 3500, 600, without bonuses. I believe I can get my damage to 7400, but theres no point with the damage the laser pickups do, negating any real threats.

Played for a month but recently kept dying due to game freezing for a second. No fix for at least a month, so Im done.

This game is great but its a HUUUGGGEE turn off when you finally get "3 cores" and go to buy your very very very well eanred "core ship" and the game says "herp not enough credit" Its not even about credits, its about cores. Also, each and everytime i open the game who was not on my "opened apps in background" i have to restore purchase to regain my IAP, very very frustrating, i was in my flight and did not even bother playing since i dint have connection to restore purchase.... Fix this.

The game is a lot of fun, but upon making it to zone 24.1 on my iPhone 5, the game is now stuck on that level. Each time i open the app it just reverts to whatever settings/progress I had upon starting this zone. Cant progress without losing everything the next time i start the app. App Support just takes me to my facebook. Please fix so i can play again!!!

I dont know what the hell just happend but I came back after not playing for a couple of days and boom, I start back from the start. WTH is that ????? I want my save back

Game could be good if the bosses didnt kill you in 2 hits/ you didnt have to wait 15 minutes just to play again if you die.

Its a good game all around but you should iron out some bugs ex: when you get 3 cores but you cant get a core powered ship

Its a great game, one of the best space shooters out now. It sure takes the solar winds out of your sail when you beat the special boss TWELVE times, and a bug stops you from getting an awesome core ship! If the bugs werent there, I would give this game 5 stars.

This app is my favourite Space Shooter genre game ever. Unfortunately, the bugs are absolutely peeving over time; 1) Every time I upgrade a piece of equipment using Gems, then attempt to select another piece of equipment, the buttons on screen fail. This forces me to manually close the app and reopen it every time I go to upgrade equipment. 2) The ships in the shop that cost 3 Cores are unpurchasable. I have obtained the 3 cores requisite to unlock the AKAMA ship, but, unfortunately, the game does not accept Core transactions, instead saying "You do not have enough CREDITS". Credits are not the currency listed for purchase. After running 12 bosses for those 3 cores, I am severely unimpressed. Fixing the core issue alone will get 4-5 stars from me.

Very well developed game. Love it. So addicting.

I like the idea of this game but it is kinda pay to first bosses are almost impossible to beat without using credits but it has great potential

Great game guys but it keeps freezing when I try to equip or upgrade items. Please fix.

The game is fun but lives?! Really!! The lvls are already hard to beat on first try and you only get 5 tries!!!! Then you have to wait(didnt keep track on how much time) but I believe around 15 or 20mins. If you guys dont want to change it to unlimited tries then make the game cost money or make the lives revive faster(like 5mins)
